This past weekend we Jorge's best friend got married, so he was a groomsmen in the wedding. We got to stay at a beautiful resort in the hills of Fountain Hills, surrounded by gorgeous, ridiculously huge homes. Unfortunately, Gabe threw up all night Thursday night and all day Friday. By Saturday he wasn't as sick, but he was still tired and obviously not feeling well. My sweet niece came to stay with the kids so that we could go join in all of the wedding fun. I just love weddings! I love the love, I love the newness of it all, I love daydreaming about what the newly~weds lives will be like now that its really all beginning for them. You can see the love in their eyes and how excited they are to get their lives started together. You can also see the relief and the exhaustion in the bride and grooms eyes, as exciting as planning a wedding can be it is equally as exhausting. When you get that gut feeling that something just is not right it's not always easy to accept. After waiting 31 days for my "red headed cousin" to come to town I finally gave in and took a test.. yes a pregnancy test. All along thinking NO!NO!NO!   Over the past 5 months I had become OK with only having 2 children, so much so that I was planning on having Jorge fixed {I know, he's not a dog} in the next month or so. Since having Juliana, Jorge and I had said we were done. I convinced him to wait until she was 2 to do anything permanent just to be sure that I truly was OK with it. Over that time period my prayer was always the same, " Dear God, if it is your will for me to have another child then I leave it completely in your hands." Hi friends! I know I have been such a slacker! I haven't posted in over a year! Shame.on.me. Lots has happened in the past year, mostly in my own spiritual growth. I feel like a completely different person from where I was 1 year ago. It was a tough year for me, a lot of lessons learned but I am all the more thankful for them. My baby boy is 4 now! I have no idea where the time has gone. He started pre-school in the fall and he is loving it. My baby girl is 19 months..no wait.. I have no idea how old she is. The months thing always gets me. She's 1, simply 1 and simply a little diva. She's the boss of the house, nothing gets past her. Jorge just hot back from Afghanistan last night. Let me tell you, the past month in a half was extremely hard for me. Being alone with 2 kids and raging hormones is not a good thing. I learned patience and self control through LOTS of prayer. This year for Gabe's birthday I couldn't decide whether I wanted to have a party for him or just do a small dinner with family. Being that his birthday is in January it is hard to buckle down and plan anything until after the holidays. So after New Years I made a decision... lets do a party! I started looking at all kinds of Super Hero Parties. Gabe is really into Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers and all Super Hero's right now.. so I decided to do the Modern Marvel Superhero's. It started when the kids first arrived... they would get their Super Hero Cape. I hung them up in the tree on a string..unfortunatly it was a little windy so they ended up in one spot. After the kids got their capes they went to make their masks...  Next the kids went to the photo Spot where they got to take their Super Hero Pictures, with conversation bubbles and a bar bell.... I took little pieces from each party that I found. I made everything... from scratch!

Hey friends! Sorry I have been such a slacker lately with this blog. I will try to do a quick update of the last 5 months and then try to keep up with this for the future! So on June 23rd my beautiful baby girl made her appearance! Juliana Grace weighing in at 7.6oz and 19in (actually 21in) long. She was a heffer that one! A week after she was born we headed to Tucson for Ladd and Kates wedding. Her first trip out of town and first stay at a resort. We spent the weekend in Tucson and on that Monday Jorge took off to Maryland for training with his new job. He was in Maryland 6 weeks and I'm not gonna lie it was a really hard time for me at first. I was really depressed, sleep deprived and poor Gabe was getting the brute of my anger. It was not a good time for me. Thank goodness I have amazing friends who helped me through it and a husband who was more then understanding and sorry that he couldn't help me out. AND thank goodness Juliana was/is an angel baby. {one} how many times have you been a bridesmaid/maid of honor? Hmmm.... I'm not sure.. I was a flower girl 3 times when I was little... peed my pants at 2 of them lol. I can only remember 2 weddings that I was a bridesmaid... my cousin and miss Elena. I was supposed to be in a friends last year but...we ended our 12 year friendship soooo... that didn't happen. And I have a wedding comig up in 2013 for my Bestie DyAnna!! That was all way TMI sorry... lol {two} what’s the last thing your do before you fall asleep at night? Ususally watch t.v. lately Dexter.
